Whether you're on your way to the library or stopping by City Hall, chances are you're driving by St. John Vianney School, located in the heart of Brookfield. This blog will provide insight into life and education at SJV, a 4K-8 educational anchor in Brookfield since 1957.
Every year, St. John Vianney students take part in a talent show, called Vianney Varieties, that showcases creative, sometimes humorous and always entertaining acts. This year's event was no exception.
On Thursday, November 8th, students in fifth through eighth grade treated a packed auditorium to skits featuring solo vocal and guitar performances, songs sung by groups of students, jazz and pop dance routines, a basketball trampoline dunk contest and even a performance by pillow people.
The SJV Fine Arts Department, along with many parent, teacher and student volunteers, worked diligently behind the scenes to make the show a success. It's a highly anticipated event every year for the school community and is always an entertaining evening.
