School Spotlight

Whether you're on your way to the library or stopping by City Hall, chances are you're driving by St. John Vianney School, located in the heart of Brookfield. This blog will provide insight into life and education at SJV, a 4K-8 educational anchor in Brookfield since 1957.

St. John Vianney year-end happenings

As the school year draws to a close, St. John Vianney students are busily finishing their studies and participating in several end-of-the-year school presentations and community service projects.

Under the guidance of music teacher Lauren Revers, each grade presented musical scores at the Spring Concert while the SJV Shamrock Choir sang a song from Frozen and other favorite tunes. The seventh grade service project aimed at collecting toiletries for the Milwaukee Mission and Soujourner Truth House ended May 21st.

Last Friday, St. John Vianney students participated in the Rainbow Olympics as part of the final dash to the end of the school year. Teams competed in a myriad of games and challenges ranging from track to golf to an obstacle course. Each team had one student from each grade. This annual, friendly rivalry helps kids celebrate the end of the school year and gear up for the summer.
