Practically Speaking

Where have I heard Obama's message before?

Wisconsin's primary will be very important to the Clinton campaign and so, the ads are running.

By now we have all heard how the crowds in Madison were so enamored by Barack Obama on Tuesday. But why?

His campaign slogan is: CHANGE We can believe in. End war, health care for all, ??

It reminds me of those Miss America finalists who when interviewed say in their most serious vapid voice, I want to end world hunger, or I want world peace.

I want to end war too. Who wouldn't? Wouldn't it be nice if our troops in South Korea could come home? Butrealistic, responsible adults know that as soon as our presence  would be gone, the North Koreans would pour over the border.

I think HIllary hit the nail on the head with her newest ad, Maybe he prefers speeches than answer questions. (Of course, I have questions for her too!)

An in-law of mine, a liberal, defined conservatism and liberalism quite well. She summed it up like this: When someone is drowning, the conservative shouts, swim for it! the liberal throws them a rope that is not attached to anything. Obama is an expert at rope throwing.

Russian revolution was about change too. Look what they got.
