Kyle and her husband moved to Brookfield in 1986. She became active in local politics and started blogging in 2004. Her focus is primarily on local issues but often includes state and national topics, too. Is all of the global warming debate just hype--or is there some truth to this talk? A group of over 500 scientists, researchers, professors, and economists got together last week in New York City for the 2008 International Conference on Climate Change to talk about it. Myron Ebell, Director of Energy and Global Warming Policy at the Competitive Enterprise Institute, joins me on Washington Watch Weekly to tell us what was discussed. Then, Dr. Pat Fagan, senior fellow and the director of FRC's Center for Marriage and Religion, tells all about his new project, Mapping America, aimed at showing the positive, stabilizing effect on society produced by the intact married family that worships weekly.
