If evolution is a natural phenomena, why worry about global warming?

Somehow I just cannot square the pervasive belief in evolution with the fear of global warming, and yet, I would bet most evolutionists believe in global warming.

If we are not created in God's image and are just a product of evolving ooze, what difference does it make that the world is heating up?

I don't believe in either theory, evolution or global warming

Won't each specis just adapt and evolve to deal with the new climate peramiters?

I am not losing a single night's sleep over global warming because my beliefs lie in the

Will areas become desert that formerly were green such as they are now in China? Certainly. The Chinese are abusing the land and water resources causing the desertification.

Will other regions grow colder due to natural causes? Sure, Greenland and Canada were much warmer in Lief Erickson's day; today, those same areas are iced over.

But my future lies in the hands of  the the Almighty, who promises that seedtime and harvest will not pass away until I come again. 

Man can propose all the foolish measures he wants and not change the outcome. It just seems a little two faced to believe our earth and its inhabitants are in the process of evolution, and then propose all these measures to keep the earth from changing at all.
