Practically Speaking

Vicious attacks on Sarah Palin

The left is acting like McCain picked Sarah Palin out of a hat on Monday and announced her on Friday without proper vetting. How silly. By this time the McCain camp probably knows what toothpaste she favors!

Evidently Sarah Palin was warned about the potential for vicious attacks from McCain's opponents. She is no shrinking violet. To accuse a woman of not getting proper prenatal care as a cause of Down's Syndrome is unconcionable. Downs, as I understand it and recall from a genetics class, is not a prenatal care birth defect as Fetal Alcohol Syndrome is. It occurs when the fertilized egg starts dividing. Somehow there is an extra chromosome and that error is repeated over and over as the embryo grows. It is not caused by flying or lack of vitamins as some lefties like Colmes are accusing. (Spinabifida is caused by a Folic Acid deficiency prior to concpetion.)

The more the left accuses, the more the differences in the parties emerges. Obama sees babies as a punishment. Pro-choice lefties position is more and more evident as long as the Choice is abortion.

Keep it up, Left. The more accusations, the more you are galvanizing the conservatives and right.
