Kyle and her husband moved to Brookfield in 1986. She became active in local politics and started blogging in 2004. "Live like you mean it?" No, SPEND like you mean it!

 By now you have heard of Wisconsin's new slogan: Live like you mean it. Besides the point that what in the world does that mean?, I have to ask, what did the committee do to earn their $50,000 to create that profundity?

Obviously they did not check to see if it was already used. It has, even by Bicardi Rum!

A far better and more accurate slogan would be: SPEND like you mean it. It certainly reflects our Governor Doyle's attitude to funding programs and allocations and taxes in Wisconsin.

Typical government waste, pay lots of money for something you don't really need for an inferior product. Heaven help us.
