Radar Reliant

When nothing's on the weather radar, all is fine outside.

When I see green patches;

The umbrella, I will open wide.

If brighter colors do appear:  yellow, orange, red;

It's best to forego outdoor fun,

And stay inside, instead.

Darker colors warn of trouble:  lightning, hail, and sleet.

Tornadoes... to the basement;

Our safest home retreat.

The weather radar keeps us safe:  This I can't deny;

I'd likely strain a muscle, if I

went outside to check the sky.
