Dr. Bergman Presents: Sciences War Against Christianity & Epigenetics: Key to Genetic Variety, March 8, 2016, Grace Bible Church

Creation Science / Intelligent Design, Free, Religion, Special events

Did you know that scientific evidence supports biblical creation, yet evolutionists fight and suppress the true facts? Or that scientists who believe in a young earth or worldwide flood, as described in the Bible for example, are often prevented from publishing their work in scientific journals?

And what about the fascinating field of Epigenetics, which is the key to the vast genetic variety in a species? Evolutionists once claimed that these changes were proof of Darwin’s theories. Now we know many variations are caused by external influences on DNA that turn genes on or off.

Ernst Klaus brings us "The Bible and Astronomy" & "The Big Bang!" Oct. 27, 2015

Creation Science / Intelligent Design, Free, Special events

Former atheist to present two out-of-this-world PowerPoint talks: “The Bible and Astronomy” and “The Big Bang!”
Area speaker, Ernst Klaus, will present two vitally important PowerPoint talks regarding the creation of our universe at the Creation Science Society of Milwaukee’s October 27th meeting. In his first presentation, “The Bible and Astronomy,” Mr. Klaus will cite many Old and New Testament passages that deal with the heavens, including verses that mention the planets and constellations. He will also touch on the subject of astrology and the “Blood Moon Craze” talked about today.
His second talk, “The Big Bang,” is an expose’ of the currently most popular theory amongst evolutionists of how the universe came into existence. In this presentation, he will discuss why God created light before creating the sun and stars and discuss some of the major scientific deficiencies of the Big Bang, including dark matter, dark energy and black holes.
Evolutionists continue to make great strides in influencing the general public--even Christians--with their false beliefs. Their theories are often taught as fact in public and private schools, on television, and throughout the internet and printed media. NASA and other space agencies continually search for signs of life in our Solar System and beyond. The discovery of the complexity of DNA and cell structures is explained away by a growing belief that intelligent extraterrestrial life must have been the source of life on earth.
These godless philosophies and beliefs demand a biblical and scientific response, such as you will hear in Ernst Klaus’ two presentations. So come to these two important talks and equip yourself with the truth at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday, October 27, 2015, at Waukesha First Assembly of God, 1314 South Grand Avenue, Waukesha, WI.  (Just north of W. Sunset Drive on South Grand Avenue)
This meeting is free and open to the public and is sponsored by the Creation Science Society of Milwaukee.  Creation literature and DVDs will be available.
About Ernst Klaus: Klaus was born in 1948 in Salzburg, Austria. Four years later, his family immigrated to the United States. Though he attended a parochial school through 7th grade, he didn’t believe the theology taught there was from God and became an atheist in his late teens / early 20’s. But when a friend at work gave him a Bible several years later, he read it and realized it was God’s true word. He accepted Christ as his Savior.
It was not until 2007, however, when he came across a used college astronomy textbook, that he began to search out and address various aspects of the creation vs. evolution debate. He knew that astronomy book he found would contain many ideas that were not biblical, but he was also determined to read it to discover how much the text taught that was not science. Though he was not a scientist, he found “it was easy to see though the many strained theories that had their origin in evolutionist philosophies.” He has continued to investigate and inform himself on the subject ever since and started his ministry as a young earth creationist in the field of astronomy. He has presented many messages and PowerPoints on the subject and created his website, Formed By God, Upholding the Biblical Account of Creation, as a resource for those seeking the truth. (  Ernst Klaus and his wife Cathy are members of Grace Baptist Church in Waukesha, Wisconsin.

Author Jeff Stueber to explore evolutionst claims that actually confirm creationist beliefs! Sept. 22, 2015

Creation Science / Intelligent Design, Special events, Free

Author of The Vast Wastelands of Unbelief to explore how many evolutionist claims and arguments actually confirm Christian creationist beliefs

Atheists often claim they have accurate and irrefutable arguments against the existence of God. Evolutionists no longer speak of their beliefs in terms of being theories but now state their ideas as undisputed fact. Yet when closely examined, many of their facts and arguments actually give credence to biblical creation and Christianity!

Author Jeff Stueber will present a fascinating look at the flip-side of the arguments atheists, evolutionists, humanists and liberals espouse at the Creation Science Society of Milwaukee’s September meeting.  His talk will give a thought provoking sampling of some of the faulty arguments exposed in his most recent book, The Vast Wastelands of Unbelief.

Sponsored by the Creation Science Society of Milwaukee, Stueber’s presentation is slated for 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 22, 2015, at Pilgrim Lutheran Church, W156N5436 Bette Dr., Menomonee Falls. MAP (Two blocks south of Silver Spring Drive, one block west of Pilgrim Road)

The meeting is free and open to the public—Creation literature and DVDs available.

From his blog, “Jeff Stueber [from Watertown, Wisconsin] is a free-lance writer who has been researching religious, philosophical, and political things for over fifteen years. Currently Jeff is member of the board of directors for the Lutheran Science Institute. His essays have been either published at or linked to by such notable pages as the revolt against evolution site ( and Tektonics Ministries (”

“In addition, Jeff has been published in a local writer's group yearly edition of Writer's on the Rock, several editions of the Lutheran Science newsletter, his local newspaper, the Watertown Daily Times, an issue of Tektonics Ministries e blog, and in issues of the Creation Research Society Quarterly. An essay of Jeff's has been published in Jerry Bergman and Doug Sharp's Persuaded by the Evidence.” He also blogs at Vast Wastelands of Unbelief

Nature without Naturalism: New Thoughts on a New Earth, Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013, 7pm

Creation Science / Intelligent Design, Free, Nature, Special events

What gardener doesn't long for a garden free of weeds, pests, and disease? And don't most of us want pure, toxin free water to drink, clean air to breathe, safe foods to eat , and a pristine environment to live in, where all can thrive in harmony on a renewed earth? In short, we are looking for a perfect world, an Eden.

Unfortunately, a perfect world like this is not possible on our earth at this time.

But there is a day coming when everything will be made anew, and this is the subject of this month's Creation Science Society of Milwaukee lecture: Nature Without Naturalism: New Thoughts on a New Earth.

In this presentation, Rick Albrecht, a West Allis -West Milwaukee science teacher, will team up with Tim Albers, a psychologist at local schools, both private and public, to bring us this seldom discussed program. These two rather hard-nosed realists will look at the subject of origins from the other end of history, from the viewpoint of our planet's destiny.

Contrary to popular misconceptions, Albrecht and Albers point out, the Bible predicts a restored, renewed, physical and "earthly" New Earth -- painting a picture that would dazzle even the most optimistic of environmentalists. The pathway to this magnificent destiny: taking naturalism out of nature.

In order to provide their audience with a rarely considered and fascinating view of our planet's wondrous future, their wide-ranging talk will cover subjects from genetic coding, information theory, and astrobiology to motivation theory, cosmology and paleontology.

This presentation is sponsored by the Creation Science Society of Milwaukee and is free and open to the public. The talk will take place at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, January 22, at Brookfield Lutheran Church, 18500 W. Burleigh Rd., Brookfield, Wisconsin. Directions

More about the speakers:
Rich Albercht translated his love of mountains into a degree in geology. His career-long fascination with the topic of our universe's origins has led him to speaking engagements in many venues.
Tim Albers, a graduate adjunct professor at Concordia University Wisconsin who focuses on subjects from worldview analysis to the roots of school violence. He has presented creation - evolution issues in settings from the Audubon Nature Center to an international conference on Intelligent Design.

Upcoming events:  Jay Seegert, Tuesday, February 26, 2013, Milwaukee Lutheran High School Cafeteria
Dr. Jerry Bergman, Tuesday, March 12, 2013, Grace Bible Church

Creation Science Seminar: 'Answers Conference', November 16, 17, 2012, Brookfield, WI

Brookfield, Creation Science / Intelligent Design, Education, Free, Special events, Religion

Ever wonder if the book of Genesis is relevant today? What about dinosaurs, did they ever live with man? Is the earth really millions of years old or is it young? Does the rock and fossil record back up either claim? Have they ever found the remains of an apeman, or can we really believe there was an Adam as the Bible teaches?

If you do, you are not alone. These questions trouble many Christians today.

Dr. Terry Mortenson and Tim Chaffey, two well known Creation Science speakers from Answers in Genesis, will address these questions and more at the Using God's Word for the World's Questions ANSWERS CONFERENCE, this Friday evening, Nov. 16 and Saturday, Nov. 17. They will teach a biblical and scientific defense for the Christian faith and give new insights into our past.

The two-day Answers Conference is sponsored by the Creation Science Society of Milwaukee and Brookside Baptist Church. It is designed to equip Christians with the facts necessary to defend the foundational truth of the Genesis account in the Bible. It will also show that the basis for evolution is not founded in rocks and fossils but rather in an anti-biblical worldview.

The conference is free and open to the public, but a free will offering will be taken. All sessions will take place at Brookside Baptist Church, 4470 N. Pilgrim Rd., Brookfield, Wisconsin. Get Directions

Dr. TerryMortenson is a theologian, historian of geology, and author for Answers in Genesis (AiG). With a PhD in history of geology from the University of Coventry in England, Dr. Mortenson has been studying and speaking on the creation-evolution controversy in 21 countries since the late 1970s. Many of his popular lectures have been produced as DVDs and TV programs. He also holds a Master of Divinity degree from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, IL. Like many creationists, Mortenson grew up in an education system that taught evolution as fact. He began to see the fallacy of the idea of millions of years of evolution in his early college years.
Tim Chaffey holds a B.S. and two M.A. degrees in Biblical and Theological Studies. Chaffey is the founder and director of Midwest Apologetics, a ministry dedicated to defending the word of God from the beginning to the end. He is an apologist with a passion for training young people; he speaks regularly at AiG’s Creation Museum, camps, schools, and churches. Chaffey specializes in the Creation vs. Evolution controversy, which led him to write his first book, Old-Earth Creationism on Trial: The Verdict Is In (co-authored with Jason Lisle, Ph.D. in Astrophysics.)

June 4&5: Last chance to enjoy Reclaiming Our Heritage weekend at VA

History, Free, War, WISCONSIN, Special events

Sad but true, June 4th & 5th marks the 10th and final Reclaiming Our Heritage weekend at Milwaukee's VA Medical Center. (5000 W. National Ave. behind Miller Park) As the JSOnline reported in March, "In some respects the event is a victim of its popularity." The article mentioned that the reenactment weekend grew from just 50 reenactors with around 3,000 visitors in 2002 to hosting 700 war re-enactors and over 10,000 visitors last year.

I have been to a few Civil War reenactor events around the country, but Reclaiming Our Heritage was unique in that it hosted reenactors from many war eras at the same time: Pre Civil War, Civil War, WWI, WW2, Korean War, Vietnam War, and Iraq.

However, one drawback to all that variety is that all those groups need open space to set up their camps and conduct Living History demonstrations. And with the the VAs new building plans, vacant areas, large enough to house all those reenactor camps, is said to become too scarce for future events. (Many of the reenactors actually live in their camps for the weekend.)

So attend if you can, because this is your last chance to experience this Living History event at such a history rich location as the VA and National Cemetery.

Reclaiming Our Heritage is billed as Family Friendly and Positively Patriotic and seems to include events of interest for the whole family: plenty of music, dancing, fashions, soldier reenactments and demos, church services on Sunday, and more. Check out the Reclaiming Our Heritage events page for specifics.

The event is FREE, and activities begin at 9am both days.

JSOnline: Reclaiming Our Heritage ending after this year.

It's National School Choice Week - Register for Jan. 27th and/or Jan. 31st events

Education, Elmbrook, Free, Special events, TAXES

Americans for Prosperity and National School Choice team up this week to bring you 2 National School Choice events in our area.

On Thursday, January 27th, from 6pm - 8pm, there will be a showing of "The Cartel", a movie that deals with the failure of public education--especially for minority students. It is free, but you must register. Wisconsin branch of the AFP, Fight Back Wisconsin website, states there will be a Town Hall Q&A connected with this movie showing too. Held at 1126 S. 70th Street, Suite S211, Milwaukee. (North of Greenfield Ave.) Call 414-476-7900 for more information.

The 2nd event is probably of more interest to those of us in the Elmbrook School District, since in general, parents are satisfied with our school system. This one is titled, The Education Revolution Tour: Restoring America's Exceptionalism. This Town Hall will be held from 7 - 8:30 pm on January 31st, at the Country Springs Hotel (2810 Golf Road) in Pewaukee. Call 414-476-7900 for more information. The meeting is FREE, but you need to register. (There is also a pre-Town Hall reception and photo op with Dick Morris and Vicki McKenna at 6pm, for a $59 registration fee.)

Why are they doing this? Because, as their literature and ads state, "American 15-year-olds rank 35th out of 57 countries in math and literacy, behind almost all industrialized nations!"

Never heard of National School Choice week? Don't feel badly. This is a new grassroots movement in our nation and this is the first of hopefully many more nationwide events of this kind.

The Heritage Foundation informs us that over 150 organizations nationwide are hosting events this week. "It’s a grassroots movement of national proportions to highlight the benefits of school choice and demand access to quality educational options. Speaker John Boehner, Newt Gingrich, Sens. Joe Lieberman and John McCain and former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush – among many others – are all “in” for National School Choice Week.
