Music Under Glass at the Domes Begins

The Mitchell Park Domes will swing open its doors on the evening of Thursday, Nov. 4 from 6:30-8:30pm for the fall season’s opener “Music Under Glass” concert featuring Reverand Raven & The Chain Smoking Alterboys, a soul and rhythm & blues band.        

The Dome’s Music Under Glass Series runs from Nov. 4 through March 31 every Thursday evening from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Light shows will occur during the evening concert breaks and after performances. Additionally, the Domes Holiday Floral Show, “Frosty Fables” will open on Nov. 20 and its Train Show, “Story Book Tales” will open on Jan. 15 in the show Dome featuring multiple model trains running on over 500 feet of track. 

Milwaukee County Parks Director, Sue Black, said, “Music Under Glass is so different and so fun. I invite you to come out and play.”

For the price of admission, attendees to “Music Under Glass” will be entertained by live music, an awe-inspiring, computer-generated light show and the option to tour all three Domes with their rare and exotic plant life from every continent on earth. A total of 22 evenings are scheduled featuring quality music with diverse styles and genre. Food and beverages are available for purchase. For more information, go to or call the Parks Office at (414) 257-PARK.
