Tara Baxa and Joe Lazzaro of Muskego were married June 9, 2012, at St. Dominic Catholic Church in Brookfield.
Parents of the bride are Mary and Mike Baxa of Brookfield. The groom's parents are Dawn and Joe Lazzaro of Big Bend.
The Rev. Bob Gloudemann officiated the 2 p.m. ceremony, which was followed by a reception at Country Springs hotel in Pewaukee.
The bride wore a pearl-toned, mermaid-style gown with beading and a sweetheart neckline. She carried a bouquet of calla lilies and ivory roses.
Kelly Baxa, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Jessica Andolina of Brookfield, Nicole Saad of Menomonee Falls, Kelly Prossen of Madison and Traci Baxa of Lubbock, Texas. Eva and Annalise Baxa of Lubbock, nieces of the bride, were flower girls.
Scottie Sekach, cousin of the groom, was best man. Groomsmen were Matthew Kobylinski and Casey Kobylinski of Big Bend and David Conrad and Darren Tice of Milwaukee. Josiah Baxa of Lubbock, nephew of the bride, was ring bearer.
Ushers were Kevin Baxa of Denver, Colo., and Brian Baxa, Dan Baxa and Tommy Baxa of Brookfield.
The bride earned her bachelor's degree in communication and journalism from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2010. She is employed by MYCO USA in Wauwatosa.
The groom attended UWM, as well. He is a roofer with JKL Roofing in Big Bend.
The couple planned a one-week honeymoon in Couples Negril in Jamaica.
