City of Brookfield


1A woman in the 2500 block of Coach House Drive reported that someone attempted to break into her house through a garage door but was scared away by barking dogs prior to 8 a.m. Dec. 15. No suspects were found.

2An equipment room rented by T-Mobile and Cricket Wireless in the 13500 block of Burleigh Road was broken into prior to 5 p.m. Dec. 15. Nothing appears to be missing.


3A man in the 700 block of Calhoun Road reported that someone used his credit card without permission to order three pairs of shoes from an online vendor prior to 10:45 a.m. Dec. 15. Loss is estimated at $903.

4A woman took baby formula from Pick 'n Save, 12735 W. Capitol Drive, and used her car keys to stab the hand of an employee who confronted her as she fled Dec. 16.

5About $90 and a credit card were taken from an employee break room at Destination Maternity, 16010 W. Bluemound Road, prior to 1:25 p.m. Dec. 18.


6A 37-year-old Milwaukee woman was cited for drunken driving and having open intoxicants in a vehicle at North Avenue and Lilly Road about 10 p.m. Dec. 13. She had been pulled over for failure to yield the right of way. A blood sample was collected to determine her blood-alcohol content.

7A 28-year-old Brookfield man was arrested for drunken driving, second offense, at Pilgrim Road and North Avenue about 11 p.m. Dec. 15. He had been pulled over because his vehicle had a defective brake light. His BAC was 0.10.

8A 51-year-old West Bend woman was cited for drunken driving on Moorland Road, at Interstate 94, at 11:53 p.m. Dec. 15. She had been pulled over because her vehicle had a defective brake light. Her BAC was 0.14.

9A 35-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving with a passenger younger than 16, second offense, obstructing an officer and driving with a revoked license in the 17100 block of Bluemound Road about 4 p.m. Dec. 18. He had been pulled over for not using a turn signal. A blood sample was collected so his BAC can be determined.

10A 37-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for drunken driving at Pilgrim Parkway and Watertown Plank Road at 1:23 a.m. Dec. 19. He had been pulled over because police received reports that he was driving erratically. His BAC was 0.25.


11Christmas lights hanging in the 3500 block of Nassau Drive were damaged on two occasions prior to 5:45 p.m. Dec. 12. The homeowner suspected a vandal had cut the electrical cords, but it appeared a rodent had chewed them.

12A 16-year-old Brookfield boy was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia after a marijuana pipe was seen in his car at Brookfield East High School, 3305 Lilly Road, at 9:30 a.m. Dec. 13.

13A man cursed at people as they walked past him at Brookfield Square, 95 N. Moorland Road, at 1:50 p.m. Dec. 13. Officers were unable to find him.

14A man yelled, used profanity and made threats when he was fired from his job at Jimmy John's, 12460 W. Capitol Drive, at 10:55 a.m. Dec. 14. He was told not to return.

15Two people were reported to be naked in a car at Endicott Park, 451 S. Calhoun Road, about 3:50 p.m. Dec. 14. When an officer investigated, they said they had been kissing, but remained fully clothed.

16An officer responded to the 16000 block of Bluemound Road for a report that a 16-year-old girl had signed a petition to recall Gov. Scott Walker at 4:20 p.m. Dec. 17. The child had lied about her age, and her name was scratched from the list.

17A wallet was taken from Elmbrook Church, 777 S. Barker Road, prior to 1:20 p.m. Dec. 4. Loss is estimated at nearly $200.


18A 21-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for disorderly conduct for yelling at and threatening a woman who had requested he not put his feet on the seat of a bus in the 19800 block of Bluemound Road at 2:50 p.m. Dec. 9.

Village of Elm Grove


19A ladder valued at $100 was taken from a yard in the 1000 block of Upper Ridge Way on Dec. 8 or 9.


20A 21-year-old Waukesha man was cited for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop near Bluemound Road and Bishops Way Drive at 1 a.m. Dec. 17. He had been pulled over because his vehicle had a defective brake light; 0.60 grams of marijuana and a pipe were found in his car.
