Starting a business workshop: Service Corps of Retired Executives Southeast Wisconsin Chapter will conduct a business workshop titled "Starting a Business? - Readiness Assessment" from 9 a.m. to noon April 14 at the Milwaukee County Research Park, 10437 Innovation Drive. Workshop leaders will discuss many of the myths and realities of being an entrepreneur and will go through a number of self evaluation tools to make sure it's right for the attendees. The fee is $35 per person, and $20 for each additional person from the same firm. Growing quality connections: YP Impact is assisting Milwaukee Riverkeeper for their fourth year at the 17th annual spring river cleanup slated for 9 a.m. to noon April 21. Volunteers will help pick up trash and debris along the bands of the Honey Creek area in Wauwatosa. There will by a networking reception afterward at Leff's Lucky Town, 7208 W. Summit Young Professionals tailgate: Young professionals are invited to a tailgate and Brewers game from 4 to 9 p.m. Box lunches from Subway and other treats will be provided. Games and a raffle will be held. The game, the Brewers vs. the Astros, begins at 7 p.m. The cost is $30 for members and their significant others and $40 for nonmembers.
