Ameriprise advisers achieve recognition
Gary B. Duncoand and Robert DiDonato, financial advisers in the Brookfield office of Ameriprise Financial, qualified for and attended the 2014 national conference, which was held in Boston.
While at the conference, advisers shared best practices with peers and focused on how they can continue to serve clients' needs with the most current and effective strategies, products and solutions.
To earn this achievement, Dunco and DiDonato established themselves as two of the company's top advisers, achieving high levels in production, client service and client satisfaction.
Community Care employee to serve national board
Community Care Inc. program officer Kelly Carter has been elected to the board of directors of the National PACE Association, headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia.
The association promotes and advocates for the Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly, a community-based, long-term care program that serves as an alternative to nursing home care for adults age 55 and older who are eligible for Medicare or Medicaid.
Carter, a registered nurse who joined Community Care as a group home manager in 1999, was elected partly because of her extensive operational and managerial experience with the PACE model in several different settings, both rural and urban. She will serve a three-year term on the board.Community Care, headquartered in Brookfield, is the only managed care organization in the state to offer the PACE program. The private nonprofit organization operates one of the first and largest PACE programs in the country.
The Community Care PACE program is offered in both Milwaukee and Waukesha counties.
Integrated Health Network of Brookfield hires three
Integrated Health Network of Wisconsin, a Brookfield-based consortium of independent health care systems, hospitals and physicians, has named Menomonee Falls resident Annette J. Dahly-Vernon to its management team.
In her role as director, population health management, Dahly-Vernon is responsible for overseeing the implementation of population health initiatives, including identification of best practices, care guidelines, and support tools.
She has a PhD in physiology and a bachelor's degree in biology.
Also joining the firm are Adam R. Baker, as vice president, data and analytics, and Nicholas S. Serio as director, ACO products. Baker is responsible for direction and oversight of data management and external reporting functions to support clinical integration, population management and care coordination activities. He has a master's degree in business administration.
Serio is responsible for accountable care organization product management, payer contracting and provider relations. Previously, he spent eight years with UnitedHealthcare in a variety of roles, most recently as manager of network management. Serio has a bachelor's degree in economics.
