City of Brookfield


1A 20-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested taking merchandise at Boston Store, 15875 W. Bluemound Road, at 5:58 p.m. Nov. 21.

2A customer's wallet was taken from her purse at Pick 'n Save, 12735 W. Capitol Drive, at 5:53 p.m. Nov. 24. The wallet contained between $40 and $60, five credit cards and identification cards.

3A 43-year-old Glendale woman was arrested for taking a pair of jeans valued at $158 at The Buckle inside Brookfield Square, 95 N. Moorland Road, at 4:29 p.m. Nov. 25.


4An 18-year-old Brookfield man was arrested for possession of marijuana in the 1200 block of South Moorland Road at 1:43 a.m. Nov. 23.


5Graffiti was written in spray paint on the side of a building in the 2200 block of North Calhoun Road before 8:55 a.m. Nov. 21.

6A string of Christmas lights was cut in a yard in the 2900 block of San Raphael Drive between 11 p.m. Nov. 22 and 5 a.m. Nov. 23. A wreath also was taken.

7A 45-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for damaging a cigarette cabinet at Pick 'n Save, 12735 W. Capitol Drive, at 10:46 p.m. Nov. 23. The man was attempting to take cigarettes from the store.


8An 85-year-old Brookfield man was arrested for causing a disturbance at Great Clips, 12455 W. Capitol Drive, at 2:51 p.m. Nov. 21.

9A 28-year-old West Allis man was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia near Bluemound and Sunny Slope roads at 2 p.m. Nov. 23.

Police made one arrest related to a domestic dispute last week.

Town of Brookfield


10Tools valued at $1,000 were taken from Litgen Concrete Cutting, 21870 Watertown Road, before 10:18 a.m. Nov. 13. The method of entry is unknown.

11Just more than $200 was taken at Taste of India, 17800 W. Bluemound Road, before 10:10 a.m. Nov. 15. Access was gained by forcing open a window.


12A 19-year-old Waukesha woman was arrested for not paying a bill of nearly $40 at Perkins, 585 N. Barker Road, at 9:12 p.m. Nov. 7. The woman left the restaurant, and staff made note of her license plate.

13A wallet containing credit cards was taken from an unlocked vehicle in the 21800 block of Longview Drive before 1:42 p.m. Nov. 23.


14A 36-year-old Brookfield man was arrested for drunken driving in the 19600 block of West Bluemound Road at 2:07 a.m. Nov. 20. His blood-alcohol content was 0.223.


15A 20-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for working as an escort at Motel 6, 20300 W. Bluemound Road, at 2:08 p.m. Nov. 7. Police conducted an investigation after coming across information about escorts working in the area through an Internet site. The woman's profile image included fixtures that matched those at Motel 6, prompting police to perform a sting operation.

Police made two arrests related to domestic disputes last week.

Village of Elm Grove


16A 31-year-old Brookfield woman was arrested for drunken driving in the 1000 block of Pilgrim Parkway at 7:07 p.m. Nov. 21. A breath test showed the woman's blood-alcohol content was 0.30, and a blood draw was subsequently conducted. This was the woman's second offense.

17A 28-year-old Waukesha woman was arrested for drunken driving near Bluemound and Moorland roads at 2:36 a.m. Nov. 24. Her BAC was 0.13.


18A mailbox was struck, causing $150 damage, in the 14500 block of Watertown Plank Road before 12:09 p.m. Nov. 21.
